Fabiola was a common phenomenon in the Amsterdam city
life and in the gay scene.
Fabiola's real name was Peter Alexander Linden.
He was born in Germany, grew up in Antwerp and later moved to Amsterdam.
There he fell on his often brightly colored dresses,
special headgear, makeup,high heels and beaded necklaces.
He also paid tribute in decorative oil.
